Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of those country remedies that can cure just about anything–or so they say. Also, when I say apple cider vinegar, I mean the kind with the gross sentiment at the bottom, that’s the good stuff; Braggs or Spectrum should do the trick.

Not only is this stuff great for salad dressing, it can work wonders if you suffer from acid reflux. I won’t get into the gross details, but let me tell you: any time I don’t have to buy an expensive product endorsed by Larry the Cable Guy the better.

Apple cider vinegar is said to have redeeming qualities for your skin also, by regulating the pH of your skin, and is said to help fade acne scars and age spots. Whether or not this stuff actually works, scientifically speaking, is up for debate, but the stuff has a whole army of users who sport this sour tonic.

Even if you’re not into natural skincare or the benefits of apple cider vinegar for your skin, it’s also just a great thing to have in your kitchen. Apple cider vinegar can be used in a ton of recipes, salad dressings, and  even some household cleaning.
